Purnia MP Pappu Yadav has attacked the government over smart meters in Bihar. He said that smart meters are being implemented to benefit industrialists, while the Maharashtra government has rejected it. He asked why smart meters are being implemented in Bihar, when the public is not getting any benefit from it.
Purnia MP Pappu Yadav said that where has the policy of One Nation-One Tariff gone? He said that talking about 200 units of free electricity will not work as politics. He said that due to smart meters, the people of Bihar will not have to face expensive electricity bills. He demanded from the government that the electricity rates in Bihar should be reduced and work should be done in the interest of the people. He demanded from the government that if the government does not find a solution regarding smart meters, then I and my workers will take to the streets and protest.
He also took a jibe at Tejashwi Yadav
Pappu Yadav also spoke a lot on Tejashwi Yadav. He said that the opposition does not say anything about the problems of the people, but takes out yatras to do politics. Apart from this, Pappu Yadav has also spoken a lot on video politics. He said that some people and parties are engaged in video politics, which has nothing to do with the problems of the people. He said that video politics is not good for democracy and politics. He said that the alliances formed at the country or state level are also mismatched alliances, in which there is no morality anywhere. Pappu Yadav said that he will continue to fight in the interest of the people and will keep demanding the government to work in the interest of the people. He said that he will always raise his voice regarding the problems of the people. He said that the government should work to solve the problems of the people and should not engage in video politics.
